The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Android Developer with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust Android applications. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of cutting-edge Android solutions.

This role is perfect for someone who has entrepreneurial drive and Content Marketing experience! You will directly contribute to the growth of Innovapptive.

Application Development:

• Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and secure Android applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Android development team.
• Mentor and coach junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Architecture and Design:

• Architect and implement robust and maintainable Android application architectures.
• Work closely with product owners and UX/UI designers to implement innovative user interfaces and features.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, QA engineers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates.

Performance Optimization:

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal application performance.
• Continuously optimize and improve existing codebase for better efficiency.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement and maintain unit testing and integration testing for Android applications.
• Work closely with QA teams to identify and address bugs and issues.

Problem Solving:

• Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues, providing effective and timely solutions.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks during the development process.

 Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5 - 7 years of professional experience in Android application development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
• Extensive experience with Kotlin, Android SDK, Android Studio, and related tools.
• Experience with writing unit tests for Android applications using frameworks (Ex: JUnit)
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design principles, and design patterns.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and web services integration.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable Android applications.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
